Five Ways to Rock the Kimono

The Kimono is a closet essential that every gal-on-the-go must have! It’s one of the most versatile outerwear and adds a pop of color and structure to any outfit when paired correctly. It’s perfect for layering, especially on days when we ladies feel bloated (we’ve all had those days), without adding any bulk. Helps us girls look fabulous with minimum effort – doesn’t that sound like a dream come true?

So here’s 5 different ways to pair the kimono:

1. Kimono on top

A light kimono is absolutely perfect for the hot, summer weather. Pair it with skinny jeans and a simple black or white tank. Not to forget, your favorite pair of sneakers for that casual chic outfit.

2. Beach please!

Channel your inner Candice Swanepoel at this beach with by throwing on a kimono top to cover up your favorite bikini when you’re done playing in the sea. We’re thinking beach waves in your hair, toes in the sand and a pretty flowy kimono; certainly beats a plain towel.

3. Tucked and ready to go

For a more polished work look, wrap a printed kimono around like a shirt and tuck it into a black pencil skirt or pair with a high-waist belt. Pair with heels, and voila, your favorite kimono cardigan is now a formal top.

4. Adorbs and romped up

Rompers are adorable! Add a floral or Aztec print kimono and take your outfit a step further and add a boho chic feel to your outfit. Pair with strappy sandals or a pair of boots and you’re good to go.

5. Maxi it up

The kimono cardigan is absolutely the best piece of clothing for layering. With a fitted maxi dress and a statement necklace, it would make an outfit that you could take from work to a night out with the girls.
